Getting here:
By rail
Most inter-city services to Birmingham arrive at New Street Station. Up to six trains an hour depart for the University on the London Midland cross-city line (ten minutes to University station, final destination Longbridge or Redditch). Some Cross Country trains departing for Bristol and Cardiff also stop at University Station. The centre of the main campus is a five-minute walk from University Station.
By bus
Numbers 61, X62, 63, 98, and 99 travel to the University’s Edgbaston campus. The services all run frequently from the city centre. Online bus timetables for 61, X62, 63, 98, and 99 are available on the National Express West Midlands website.
By taxi
There are taxi ranks at New Street Station and throughout the city centre. The journey to the University takes about ten minutes. Fares are typically between £8 and £10. You may also arrange transport with one of these taxi companies:

Leave at Junction 6 (signposted Birmingham Central) to join the A38(M)
At the end of the motorway, keep to the right, go over a flyover, then through some underpasses to join the A38 Bristol Road
The University is on your right, two and a half miles from the city centre
Leave at Junction 8 to join the M6 northbound and follow the instructions above
Leave the M5 at Junction 4 signposted Birmingham SW) to join the A38
The University is approximately eight miles from the motorway
It is easier to turn south on the M42 and leave at Junction 1, heading north on the A38 Bristol Road

Visitor car parking
Visitors to campus are requested to park in any of the 3 pay & display car parks as well as the new multi-storey pay on exit known as the North East Car Park. Locations are:
· North East Car Park (access via Pritchatts Road) Sat Nav Postcode B15 2SA
· North Car Park (access via Pritchatts Rd) Sat Nav Postcode B15 2SB
· Pritchatts Road Car Park (at the junction with Vincent Drive) Sat Nav Postcode B15 2QU
· Grange Road Car Park (Main Campus) Sat Nav Postcode B15 2TT (for access to the campus)
The first three car parks above are peripheral car parks and can be accessed without entering the main campus. Visitor charges are:
· University Permit Holders £1.00
Non University Permit Holders
· Up to 1 hour £2.00
· 1-3 hours £3.00
· 3-5 hours £4.00
· 5-8 hours £6.00
Please be advised that enforcement procedures are in place in all University parking areas and penalty notices will be issued to all vehicles that fail to comply with parking regulations.
